Hey, I'm Carousel Kathryn but you can just call me Carousel (like the mall ride). Capturing real raw moments in time is my specialty!

Photography was definitely not a direction I saw my life going. In the summer of 2020, like most people, I fell into a few new hobbies. One of those hobbies being photography. I picked up an old hand-me-down camera and started taking pictures of cars when I went to car meets. Not to long after I landed a job doing photography for local automotive shop.

As I have grown so has my photography. I am now venturing into the world of portrait, fashion, love and family. 

​

Growth is kind of my forte. Whether it is life or a skill, I am constantly looking for ways to push myself to the next level (it definitely gets a little uncomfortable).  

​

My most recent place of growth is with my mental health. In January of 2021 I was officially diagnosed with OCD, anxiety and later depression. While my journey is not linear, I choose to share it with the world in hopes it can help anyone going through similar things. 

​

With the same transparency as my mental health, my goal is that my photography captures the real, raw essences of the people and the moments. I hope that every photo will spark something in you that brings you joy, reminds you aren't alone, or gives you whatever you need at that time.
